Cricket News

Marske Cricket Club have recently been awarded Clubmark Accreditation. ECB Clubmark is an accreditation scheme for cricket clubs and is licensed from Sport England as part of their wider Clubmark scheme. ECB Clubmark shows that a club is sustainable, well run and provides the right environment for its members and junior cricketers and families.

We are very proud of our junior section of the club and like to see ourselves as a family club. We have a committed set of coaches, parents and players all keen to keep moving the juniors forward. We have teams for u11’s and u13’s in the North Yorkshire Area Cricket Council League. Both teams play competitive matches weekly and we are expecting a successful season on the pitch. The u11’s have reached the semi final of the cup for the last two years and have been challenging for league honours as well. This group of players moves up to the u13’s as a talented group of lads.

Players of all ages are welcome; we have All Stars Cricket available for 5-8 year olds and almost have enough players to enter an u15’s league team which is the clubs aim over the next season or two as we continue to grow. If you would like your child to give something new a go then please get in touch- we would love to hear from you. First session is free!
